I use a collaborative and holistic approach to unpick what is driving the behaviours and how we, as primary care givers can respond to it taking into account the child’s needs.
I use compassionate neuro affirmative approach and an acceptance method of support to:
- Increase parents' confidence in holding boundaries in a compassionate way
- Support parents to build positive relationships and fostering connections with the child
- Support parents with de-escalation and co-regulation techniques
- Understanding and recognising personal triggers and how to manage them.
I provided 1:1 and group/family support and guidance to understand what is driving challenging behaviour.
I offer guidance and advice on reframing behaviours and provide tangible strategies that can help to achieve goals.
